The Concert Series
The RB Chamber Concerts are presented by the Friends of the Rancho Bernardo Library as a cultural service to the community. All events are open to the public at no charge. These are, however, highly professional concerts with musicians’ fees paid by the Friends of the RB Library. These costs are recovered by sponsorships and the free will donations of concert goers. You may make a donation by clicking the Donate Button Below:
Donation boxes will also be available at the concert. Checks should be made out to “Friends of the RB Library” and marked as “Concert Donation”.
Concerts are at the RB Branch Library, located at 17110 Bernardo Center Drive, in the 2nd floor Community Room. Note: City regulations require the wearing of a mask while at the library.
We are pleased to be able to resume our concerts after an 18 month hiatus. However, COVID-19 precautions are still in place and will require us to institute a reservations policy because of capacity limitations. The process is detailed below. Your cooperation will be appreciated.
RB Concerts – Limited Seating Reservation Plan – COVID-19 Restrictions
Per San Diego City Regulations, the Community Room will be limited to 64 persons. Also, masks will be required. For the safety of all, we are asking that only fully vaccinated persons attend.
For everyone’s convenience, we will be instituting a reservation and seating process similar to what was made famous by Southwest Airlines. If you wish to reserve a seat, you will have to reply to this invitation, by e-mail. State the number of people (up to 4) in your party. You will receive a return e-mail validating your reservation (assuming that there is still room) and assigning a “boarding” group. Please bring your “boarding pass” to the concert and show it to the security officer at the door as your boarding group is called. Please keep clear of the door until your group is called.
Anyone without a boarding pass will not be seated in the room, unless there are vacant seats. We will issue a few “standby” passes in the case of no-shows. These seats cannot be guaranteed.
